Pilgrimage People is different from other pilgrimage tour operators. Whilst we provide a bonded travel service of the highest standards, we have no shareholders. This means that we can provide our pilgrimages at a very competitive rate, enabling more people to go on a trip of a lifetime. It also means that any profits are donated to the Christian community in the Holy Land region.

Dislocation and fragmentation of the Christian communities as a result of the region's conflicts threatens the very existence of a continuous Christian presence dating back to the time of Christ. By helping sustain these communities we give hope, not only to the families, but to a region that is in such need of the teachings of Jesus and the Gospel messages of love, compassion and peace.

Pilgrimage People are committed to supporting the Christian Community in the Holy Land. Through our use of Christian run hotels, ground operations, restaurants and guides we encourage paid employment and the dignity and stability that this brings.

As a UK charity we are also able to support specific development projects both financially, but more importantly, by including them in the itineraries of the tours that we lead. This provides visibility and encouragement to the people working to sustain their communities while demonstrating to our pilgrims the very practical contribution of the Christian Church; who do such vital work in all our names.

Many of our projects can be optionally included in our itineraries so please talk to us if you are planning a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. If you are not visiting the Holy Land then, by travelling with a Charity with no paid Trustees or shareholders, you can be sure that any surplus funds from our operations will be distributed to projects such as these.
